Hivatalos: John Frusciante kiszállt!

Most már hivatalos, John Frusciante kiszállt a Chili-ből. A dolgot ő maga ismerte el a myspace oldalán/blogján.

Clarification

When I quit the band, over a year ago, we were on an indefinite hiatus. There was no drama or anger involved, and the other guys were very understanding. They are supportive of my doing whatever makes me happy and that goes both ways.

To put it simply, my musical interests have led me in a different direction. Upon rejoining, and throughout my time in the band, I was very excited about exploring the musical possibilities inherent in a rock band, and doing so with those people in particular. A couple of years ago, I began to feel that same excitement again, but this time it was about making a different kind of music, alone, and being my own engineer.

I really love the band and what we did. I understand and value that my work with them means a lot to many people, but I have to follow my interests. For me, art has never been something done out of a sense of duty. It is something I do because it is really fun, exciting, and interesting. Over the last 12 years, I have changed, as a person and artist, to such a degree that to do further work along the lines I did with the band would be to go against my own nature. There was no choice involved in this decision. I simply have to be what I am, and have to do what I must do.

Nincs Rock&Roll Hall Of Fame

Legalább is a Chili számára 2010-ben, ugyanis az első jelölésük alkalmával nem válogatták be őket azon 5 együttes közé, akik 2010-ben bekerülnek a Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame-be. Az 5 kiválasztott: ABBA, The Stooges, Genesis, Hollies és Jimmy Cliff….

RHCP John nélkül?!

Elég sok pletyka látott napvilágot mostanában, és mindegyik szerint John Frusciante otthagyta a Red Hot Chili Pepperst. Az első forrás egy külföldi fórum adminisztrátora, aki -szerinte- megbízható forrásból tud arról, hogy John kilépett. Nem akarta folytatni a Chili-vel a dolgot, de azért csak bement a stúdióba, elkezdtek próbálni, viszont gitárosunk erőszakos volt, ez problémát szült, és otthagyta őket. Chad viszont azért nem beszél Johnról, mert van még remény, hogy visszatér.

A másik két forrás (egy LA Times újságíró és egy független kiadó) is arról tud, hogy John kiszállt, helyette az együttes Josh Klinghofferrel folytatja az új album munkálatait.

Viszont még mindig semmi hivatalos nincs, de mivel ezek egymástól független források, a dologban lehet valami.

Most már a musicradac.com is arról ír, hogy John kilépett, és az együttes Josh társaságában dolgozik tovább. A teljes cikk a musicradar oldalán olvasható.

A The Silver Tongue online magazin felvette a kapcsolatot a Chili pr-esével, aki sem megerősíteni, sem cáfolni nem cáfolta a híreket. „Jelenleg nem kommentáljuk a dolgot”.
